What's new for tourism in Thanh Hoa province this summer 2024?

For many tourists, Thanh Hoa province has long been an unmissable destination every summer. And this summer, Thanh Hoa tourism not only offers beach festivals and spectacular cultural and sporting events, but also new destinations and high-class experiences to serve visitors.

Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien (Hoang Hoa) will be put into operation during the upcoming April 30th and May 1st holidays.

If you're a fan of Thanh Hoa tourism and regularly follow and update information about tourist areas, attractions, and products, then the new destinations about to open to tourists this summer will no longer be a secret. Among them, the most anticipated names include: Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien (Hoang Hoa), Sam Son Water Park (Sam Son City), and Hi-King Lake resort (Tho Xuan).

By this time, the vibrant, colorful buildings along the Hai Tien beach have taken shape, attracting many young people to check in. It is known that, with the aim of becoming a "5-star commercial and tourist city," Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien boasts 999 check-in points and a full range of amenities, catering to five trends: check-in, entertainment, shopping, style, and festivals for tourists. In particular, the high-end villas here are designed according to two Flamingo architectural art styles: Flamingo Art Colour Design and Flamingo Flower & Forest in the Sky, bringing a fresh, youthful, and dynamic feel to a vibrant entertainment and recreation destination. Furthermore, each Flamingo project focuses on six "green" principles: green thinking, green investment, green planning, green technology, green operation, and green art, creating green spaces that respect and harmonize with nature. Simultaneously preserving the local culture down to the smallest detail creates the core value and lasting sustainability of the resort product.

According to Le Ba Minh, Head of Accommodation at Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien, “During the upcoming April 30th and May 1st holidays, we will officially launch the entire project and its amenities, including the Ibiza Party Resort (four-season resort), Ruriko Japanese Onsen (hot spring bath), Lala Icecream Museum (ice cream and candy museum), the 21st-floor skybar, infinity pool, four-season pool, light square, color square, Lala Game Kingdom amusement park, and Lalamingo pedestrian street. Along with that, a series of festivals will be organized on a large scale, so that 2024 truly becomes the year of Ibiza tourism and the Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien project becomes a “city of festivals,” a place for check-ins, art, color, and light. We have proposed to the corporation several preferential policies specifically for local residents when using services at Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien.”

As for Sam Son City this summer, alongside its annual cultural, sports, and tourism events, the city will inaugurate and put into operation the new beachfront square. In particular, the attention of many tourists is currently focused on SunWorld Sam Son Park. Upon opening, the park will be a large-scale outdoor entertainment complex with one of the highest investment levels in Northern Vietnam. It will feature many attractive games and activities such as the Ferris Wheel, Eagle's Nest, Dragon Boat rides, Phoenix Carousel, Flying Bird, Creation Tree, and many other adventurous rides. In addition, the water park area will offer many exciting games and experiences for all ages. Phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed and opened to tourists in May.

According to Le Quy Thu, Director of Sun Group Joint Stock Company - Sam Son Branch: “The park's design is inspired by the flow of culture, connecting and spreading the mythological stories of the Vietnamese people. In phase 1, several games will be put into operation to serve tourists, such as a lazy river, a wave pool, and some thrill rides. These include game complexes for families and children, the first of their kind in Southeast Asia. With its direct connection to the Sam Son Beach Square complex and the festival landscape axis, along with other activities such as the water show and commercial street, we believe it will attract a large number of tourists to this area, contributing to Sam Son City achieving nearly 10 million tourists in 2024.”

And a brand new destination in the western part of the province is the Hi-King Lake Resort (Tho Xuan), scheduled to open on April 30th and May 1st. This project, invested by Sao Mai Group, covers 53.8 hectares with a total investment of 1,400 billion VND. It is a high-end resort and eco-cultural complex with integrated infrastructure and services meeting international standards. The resort is considered a blend of cultural excellence and contemporary architecture, and is sure to be an ideal destination for nature lovers, explorers, outdoor enthusiasts, or simply those seeking a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Along with new and attractive destinations, during the summer of 2024, many exciting cultural, sports, and tourism events will take place throughout the province. These include events and series of events being organized for the first time, on a grand scale, promising visitors exciting experiences and a wonderful holiday with family and friends.
