Thai Nguyen Business Association: Strong alliance, promoting common development

On August 24, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Business Association held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Dang Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. The first Congress of the Provincial Business Association, term 2025-2030, has a special, broader, more diverse meaning, connecting a large number of businesses and entrepreneurs under one common roof. Up to now, there are about 12,000 businesses in the province, which are an important force promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, spoke at the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh acknowledged and praised the achievements, results and contributions of the Provincial Business Association in the past term. He suggested that the Association continue to pay attention and have specific plans to expand the scale and number of members, especially attracting large enterprises, thereby creating a strong bloc, promoting the common development of the whole community, strengthening business links between the Northern and Southern regions of Thai Nguyen province.

In addition, the Association needs to increase support for businesses to promote investment - trade - tourism , access export markets, support businesses in the process of digital transformation, improve management capacity, apply technology, innovate production and business models, increase competitiveness, and proactively participate in the global value chain. Proactively promote the role of a bridge between businesses and the government, make proposals to improve the investment environment, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can develop smoothly.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council hopes that the Association will further improve its operational efficiency, affirm its position and strength, and truly be a reliable support and a driving force to promote the sustainable development of the Thai Nguyen business community.

He also emphasized: The leaders of Thai Nguyen province are committed to always accompanying, sharing, listening, and fully accepting recommendations; removing difficulties, creating all favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably, considering the success of businesses as the success of the province...

The Congress determined the motto of the Provincial Business Association in the new term as: "Solidarity - Pioneer - Integration - Development"; the basic goal is to build a strong Association, promote the role of a bridge between enterprises and the government, accompany entrepreneurs in production and business, improve competitiveness, contribute to making Thai Nguyen a modern industrial center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region...

On this occasion, 1 collective and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the period of 2020-2025 were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province. The Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) presented a souvenir flag and Certificate of Merit to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Business Association; The Chairman of VCCI presented Certificates of Merit to 25 individuals who are leaders and members of the Provincial Business Association with outstanding achievements in their work, contributing to the development of the business community and socio-economy.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Business Association, Term I, was launched, consisting of 54 members. Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, Term I, 2025-2030.
