Effectiveness of the Personal Income Tax Settlement Support Team Model

(CT) - During the personal income tax (PIT) final settlement season, many workers often encounter difficulties in filing their tax returns, especially those with income from two or more sources who must self-settle their taxes. To address these difficulties and obstacles for taxpayers during the 2025 PIT final settlement period, the Can Tho City Tax Department has proactively deployed a PIT final settlement support team at its headquarters starting in early April 2026. The team is staffed with highly qualified professionals to provide guidance and answer all taxpayer questions.

According to Mr. Ngo Van Hieu, Head of the Personal Income Tax, Household Business and Other Taxes Department of Can Tho City Tax Department, during the peak period of personal income tax finalization in 2025, the support team assisted over 30 cases daily. Here, taxpayers received guidance from preparing documents and filing to completing procedures. The establishment of this support team not only helps people fulfill their tax obligations more conveniently but also contributes to improving the efficiency of tax management.

Currently, support for personal income tax finalization is still operating until June 30, 2026, to accompany and provide maximum support to taxpayers in completing their personal income tax finalization and refund for 2025.
