Leading, directing, organizing the implementation of the right focus

Implementing Conclusion 01 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05 on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style", the Standing Board of Phu Quy District Party Committee developed Plan No. 46; which identifies 3 pressing and outstanding issues to focus on and solve. That is to correct the ethics, behavior, working style, sense of responsibility and attitude of serving the people of cadres, civil servants and public employees in performing official duties and communicating with the people; to step up administrative reform, especially to settle administrative procedures on land; strengthen the management of construction, especially construction works not for the right purpose of land use. Focus on taking care of people's lives and protecting people's health, especially those affected by natural disasters and epidemics. Environmental protection, marine ecology; effectively prevent destructive fishing with explosives, banned substances, toxic substances, electrical impulses and violations of foreign territorial waters; take measures to completely handle the discharge of solid waste, wastewater and garbage to embankments, beaches and roads.

Accordingly, the Party Committees, authorities, agencies, units and mass organizations in the district have focused on leading and organizing the implementation of the above tasks with specific programs, plans and jobs. In which, Phu Quy District Party Committee determined, in order to effectively and substantively implement the policy of building and correcting the Party and political system; resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded in politics, morality, lifestyle, manifesting "self-evolution", "self-transformation". One of the core issues is to build revolutionary ethical standards of current cadres and party members according to Ho Chi Minh's thought, taking that as the foundation, creating endogenous strength for each cadre and party member to fight against negative influences and bad habits. Therefore, in recent years, most of the cadres and party members, especially the heads of agencies and units, have followed the motto "The higher the position, the more exemplary a cadre must be". Always showing firm thoughts, right views, daring to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, wholeheartedly for the country, for the people, really is the nucleus of solidarity, gathering, motivating and promoting collective wisdom, always upholding the principle of democratic centralism.

On the other hand, every year, the district organizes to vote, introduce and register for advanced examples for collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Good example, good deeds; good models, effective ways of doing things in localities, agencies, units and advanced examples achieved in the period of 2021-2023 on the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo. Through the implementation, each level of Party committees, departments, branches, Fronts and socio-political organizations in the district have implemented many effective models, typically: Farmers' Association with the model of "Self-defense, self-management of security and order", "Seafood professional association"; Women's Union with the model of "Women's Nest of Love", "Women's Group for clean seafood processing",... Youth Union with the model of "Propaganda of traffic safety", "Young Fisherman's Club", "Youth Rice Jar", "Characteristic performance to raise funds for the poor and needy", "Solidarity trip", "People's market to reduce plastic waste" ... … All have created a positive spillover, close to the local situation; contribute to raising the awareness and responsibility of each citizen in life.

Lessons Learned

To get the above results, Mr. Le Quang Vinh - Secretary of Phu Quy District Party Committee said that: Party committees, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations throughout the district have strengthened their leadership and direction, promoting the roles and responsibilities of heads, agencies and units in the implementation of Directive 05 and annual thematic topics. Agencies and units have closely followed the content of the thematic plan to identify breakthrough, pressing and limiting issues that need to be solved; develop programs and plans, clearly define measures and roadmaps, and strengthen inspection and urge the implementation. At the same time, Phu Quy has also regularly innovated forms of learning, mastering, disseminating and propagating; closely combine studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style with the implementation of Central Resolution 4 (term XII). Improve the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education, practice ethics and lifestyle. Maintain and perform well the preliminary, summarizing, drawing from experience, praising and replicating advanced examples.
