Who is the newly appointed 7x principal of the University of Transport?

On December 18, the University of Transport solemnly held the Ceremony to Announce the Decision to recognize the school's Principal for the 2020-2025 term.

The new principal of the University of Transport is Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung. Associate Professor Hung was born in 1973 in Hung Yen , has a degree in Bridge and Road Construction from the University of Transport, a Master's degree in Soft Ground Construction from the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) and a PhD in Road Engineering from the Moscow Road University.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung is a lecturer, well-trained and matured at the University of Transport; he has a lot of experience in managing all levels of the school, having held many positions such as: Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Department, Head of the Foreign Affairs - Science and Technology Department, Deputy Director of the Branch, Vice Principal and Director of the Branch in Ho Chi Minh City of the school.

At the decision announcement ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung expressed: "Today's solemn ceremony also marks more than 34 years that I have studied and worked at the common home of the University of Transport with many generations of teachers, colleagues, generations of students, and trainees with memories imbued with humanity, teacher-student love, and colleague love. As a lecturer and now in the position of Principal of the school, I will continue the tradition of the school: Where the next generation follows and develops on the solid foundation left by the previous generation with all gratitude and pride.

I and the school leadership team in the current period have the responsibility, together with teachers, employees and students, to build a university with a broad and creative vision. We are committed to a dynamic pedagogical environment, where each individual finds the opportunity to develop their full capacity, intelligence and passion for the profession.

The tasks set for the University of Transport in the new period are truly difficult, but also full of excitement and pride. Those tasks cannot be completed if only based on my personal efforts and those of the school's leaders. We hope to receive the trust, help and companionship of all teachers, workers and generations of students of the school."

Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son commented: "Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Hung is a long-time lecturer, well-trained and matured at the University of Transport, and has held many management positions at all levels of the University."

Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son also believes that, in his position as Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hung will quickly promote his knowledge and experience; together with the Party Committee, the University Council, the Board of Directors and the collective of cadres, civil servants and employees, join hands to build a united collective, together develop the University of Transport to become stronger and stronger, achieve many great achievements in the coming time, successfully implement the strategy, continue to develop steadily, affirm the reputation of the training quality and the position of the University in the universityeducation system and with the whole society.
