On November 22nd, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held its graduation ceremony and awarded diplomas to full-time students. Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Nguyen Minh Ha, the university's Rector, congratulated the new graduates on officially completing their university studies and embarking on a new phase of their career paths.

Professor Nguyen Minh Ha expressed his pride in witnessing the students' maturity after four years of study: "Today marks the beginning of a stage of growth and personal development. Their parents have every right to be proud, and the school is also proud to see them ready to spread their wings on a wide-open path, with many challenges but also great glory ahead."
He expressed his hope that the new graduates would continue to maintain their integrity, nurture their enthusiasm, and proactively seize opportunities to take control of their future. The principal affirmed that the students' efforts throughout the past period have also contributed to the overall success of the university.
In a meaningful moment of the ceremony, Professor Nguyen Minh Ha expressed his gratitude to the parents and relatives of the students – those who have accompanied, encouraged, and provided support for them to achieve today's success.

Regarding the faculty, he acknowledged their enduring contributions in imparting knowledge, sharing experiences, organizing practical sessions and workshops, and guiding students to approach their careers comprehensively. "The teachers have contributed to shaping students' knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes – invaluable tools for entering life," he said.
Concluding his speech, the Rector wished the new graduates to maintain their enthusiasm, live responsibly, and become useful citizens wherever they work. He also extended his best wishes to the faculty, encouraging them to continue to maintain their faith and determination on their journey of "nurturing future generations."
The second graduation ceremony for regular university students in 2025 was held on November 22, 23, 29, 30 and December 13, 14, with the university awarding diplomas to 2,103 new graduates from 11 faculties.
In this graduation ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City Open University awarded 32 students the title of "Valedictorian of the entire course" (accounting for 1.5%), and 79 students the title of "Outstanding academic achievement of the entire course" (accounting for 3.8%).
