On November 22, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to full-time students. Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, Principal of the school, congratulated the new graduates on officially completing their university journey and entering a new phase of their career.
New graduates receive university diplomas
Professor Nguyen Minh Ha expressed his pride in witnessing the students grow up after four years of study: "Today marks the beginning of the stage of adulthood and adulthood. Your parents have the right to be proud, and the school is also proud to see you ready to spread your wings on the open road, with many challenges but also full of glory ahead."
He expressed his hope that the new graduates would continue to maintain their courage, nurture their enthusiasm and proactively seize opportunities to master their future. The Principal affirmed that the students’ efforts over the past time have also contributed to the overall success of the school.
In the meaningful moment of the ceremony, Professor Nguyen Minh Ha sent his thanks to the parents and relatives of the students - those who accompanied, encouraged, and created a foundation for them to achieve today's results.
New graduates shine at graduation ceremony
Regarding the teaching staff, he acknowledged their consistent contributions in imparting knowledge, sharing experiences, organizing practical training, seminars and guiding students to approach their careers comprehensively. "Teachers have contributed to forming knowledge, skills and positive attitudes for students - invaluable provisions for entering life," he said.
Concluding his speech, the Principal wished the new graduates to maintain their enthusiasm, live responsibly and become useful citizens wherever they work. He also wished the teaching staff to continue to maintain their faith and determination on the journey of "cultivating people".
The second regular university graduation ceremony in 2025 was held on November 22, 23, 29, 30 and December 13, 14, the school awarded diplomas to 2,103 new bachelors from 11 faculties.
In this graduation ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City Open University awarded 32 students with the title "Valedictorian of the entire course" (accounting for 1.5%), 79 students with the title "Excellent academic achievement of the entire course" (accounting for 3.8%)...
