Self-upgrading security standards
Mr. Vo Nguyen Dinh Tri, CEO of Rebo Technology Joint Stock Company, shared that in the current context, cybersecurity is no longer solely a matter for the technical department but is closely linked to how businesses design products, manage data, and how users utilize technology.
Based on his experience deploying the NoraClass digital learning platform and AI in schools, Mr. Tri observed that most cybersecurity incidents do not stem from complex attacks, but rather from very simple actions such as using the same password, sharing accounts, or accessing fake links.
Numerous reports also indicate that human error accounts for a large proportion of data leaks, while fraudulent activities such as phishing attacks are becoming increasingly common and sophisticated.
According to Tri, when an account is stolen, the attacker can easily access many related systems such as learning management platforms, digital libraries, or classroom management tools.
Therefore, security needs to be considered part of product design from the outset, with solutions such as clear access control, multi-factor authentication, and monitoring for unusual logins.
According to experts, in addition to technical factors, raising user awareness plays a crucial role.
Businesses need to integrate safe usage guidance into their product deployment process, helping users identify risks and develop responsible technology usage habits.
Cybersecurity needs to be approached using a multi-layered model, combining technology and human expertise.
When the system is designed securely and users are conscious of protecting their data, the new digital platform can operate stably, sustainably, and build long-term trust.

Building the foundation
As social media becomes an increasingly familiar space in daily life, local authorities are focusing on building a safe platform, linked to ensuring social stability at the grassroots level.
In Ngu Hanh Son ward, this work is concretized through many practical solutions in each residential area.
One effective approach is for neighborhood groups to maintain the operation of community Zalo groups. Mr. Le Manh Hung, head of group 154, said that in the context of increasingly sophisticated online scams, maintaining community Zalo groups has proven remarkably effective in prevention efforts.
According to Mr. Hung, the neighborhood committee regularly selects and shares warning information from official sources or from real-life events in the locality so that people can easily access and identify it.
Furthermore, the neighborhood management board closely coordinates with the local police force in verifying suspicious information, ensuring accuracy and preventing the spread of false information that could cause panic in the community.
In addition, the neighborhood committee has incorporated civilized behavior in cyberspace into the criteria for evaluating culturally exemplary families and safe residential areas.
This is a suitable step, contributing to "realizing" online conduct regulations and transforming awareness into concrete actions in people's daily lives.
Meanwhile, in Thanh Khe ward, a highlight is the model of "Safe and civilized social media space in Thanh Khe ward".
The model is designed to promote the exemplary role of officials and Party members, while also mobilizing the participation of the entire political system and the people.
According to Huynh Son Hai, Permanent Deputy Secretary and Head of the Party Committee's 35 Task Force of the ward, proactively grasping, predicting, and guiding public opinion at the grassroots level, especially in cyberspace, is an extremely urgent requirement.
The agencies, units, and socio-political organizations in Thanh Khe ward have unanimously implemented several specific measures, including proactively monitoring, interacting with, and sharing positive information from the "Thanh Khe Ngay Moi" Fanpage and other official social media platforms; setting a good example by refraining from posting, commenting on, or sharing unverified information; actively providing news, articles, and images about local activities to spread positive information; and strengthening coordination to promptly detect and report harmful, false, and misleading information on the internet.
Based on practical implementation in various localities, building a safe online environment on social media requires the collective effort of the entire society. When each official, Party member, and citizen acts responsibly, verifies, selects, and shares appropriately, the online space will gradually be "cleaned up," becoming a healthy environment, contributing to maintaining social stability and strengthening the people's trust in local authorities.
