The Cancer Patient Support Fund - A Brighter Tomorrow announced that in 2020, the fund provided support and gifts to 987 impoverished cancer patients, totaling nearly 3.5 billion VND.

The fund's branches in Phu Tho, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City have also carried out activities to support and give gifts to patients, such as providing daily meals, donating medical equipment, and assisting with transportation costs for 6,393 patients, with a total value of 18.2 billion VND.

In particular, the fund has implemented programs to support cancer treatment drugs for patients in Vietnam, giving patients more opportunities to access new treatment methods. This support continued in 2021 with several types of drugs. Over the years, the fund has supported treatment drugs for patients with advanced liver and kidney cancer; non-small cell lung cancer; leukemia; and immunotherapy drugs in cancer treatment, with a total value of over 800 billion VND.
