In recent days, Quang Ngai has experienced sunny weather after days of heavy rain. The chrysanthemums, basking in the sunshine, have begun to bud and bloom, ready for Tet (Vietnamese New Year).
The banks of the Ve River are lined with villages where chrysanthemums bloom in vibrant yellow for Tet (Lunar New Year). From village roads to fields, the atmosphere of spring is everywhere.

Mr. Tu Quang (a flower grower in Nghia Hiep commune, Tu Nghia district) shared: "With the persistent rain, we were worried that the flowers wouldn't bloom in time and the leaves would be damaged, ruining their beauty. Luckily, the flowers didn't have any problems."
The man, who has spent decades growing chrysanthemums for Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year), is proud of his village. For him, this work not only provides a substantial income but also beautifies life. Every time a truck arrives in the village to pick up the flowers, he waves and smiles at the drivers.

These days, many people from all over are also taking the opportunity to visit the flower village.
On social media, the chrysanthemum capital of Central Vietnam is considered to be the place with the most spring-like atmosphere in Quang Ngai right now.
Even though the flowers have been sold to traders, the gardener still diligently cares for them to maintain their beauty.
Having just returned to Quang Ngai from Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Luc took the opportunity to visit the flower village and livestream the experience on his social media page to show off his hometown to his friends.
Interacting with the comments, he repeatedly said, "My hometown's chrysanthemum village is the largest in Central Vietnam. Hundreds of thousands of flower pots are shipped everywhere to serve the Tet holiday. If anyone from the southern provinces returns home and passes through Quang Ngai, they can stop by to visit and take pictures."
According to statistics from Quang Ngai province, approximately 500,000 pots of chrysanthemums are sold during Tet (Lunar New Year), creating jobs for many people who need to carry them.
These days, the village roads are also overloaded, constantly congested with traffic jams as many cars of all sizes arrive to transport flowers. Mr. Hong (the driver) said he came from Gia Lai to pick up flowers for traders. This is his third trip during the Tet holiday of the Year of the Snake.
"It's very difficult for vehicles to get in and out of the flower village. Many sections are completely congested, and I and many other drivers have to detour to other, easier routes," said Hong.
Rickshaws were also busy transporting flowers to nearby selling points.
According to chrysanthemum growers, after an initial period of low demand, traders have been flocking to buy and transport the flowers in recent days. At this point, the chrysanthemum market in Quang Ngai has already sold out.
Mr. Le Hung Anh (a trader from Khanh Hoa) said: "Half a month ago I went to Quang Ngai to see the flowers. But I saw that the buds were small and thought they wouldn't bloom in time, so I didn't buy any. Now I've come back and the flowers are blooming beautifully. I've decided to buy 400 pots to bring back to Nha Trang to sell to people for Tet."
Chrysanthemums combined with old houses create a picturesque scene.
