Sharing his thoughts after the victory, Pham Thanh Bao said that he always aimed to defend the achievement he had made at the previous SEA Games and strived his best in every competition.
"During the competition, I only focused on trying my best to complete my part of the competition well. I hope my teammates will always fight their hardest to bring the best results for the country," Thanh Bao said.

The swimmer, born in 2001, also expressed his gratitude to the coaching staff and coaches who have always supported and encouraged him throughout his training process.
"There were times when I felt tired and wanted to give up, but thanks to the encouragement of my coaches and experts, I was able to overcome those challenges and perform as well as I did today," he shared.
