Singer GREY D, whose real name is Doan The Lan, was born in 2000 in Ho Chi Minh City. He is considered by audiences and professionals alike to be a prominent Gen Z figure in the music industry. In 2024, GREY D won an award at the Lan Song Xanh Awards. In 2023, he was the Vietnamese male singer with the largest number of listeners on Spotify with 113 million streams... GREY D's path to a professional music career wasn't easy. In 2014, he tried his luck at The Voice Kids Vietnam, followed by Sing My Song, but didn't achieve much success. In 2019, GREY D suspended his activities with the group Monstar after two years to fulfill his military service. Upon his return, the group announced its disbandment, leaving the singer devastated.
