To begin the presentation, students from class 7A4 recreated traditional folk games in a performance combining folk games and music titled "Childhood in Laughter," which the students found quite enjoyable.
Meanwhile, students from class 7A9 performed a reenactment of "A mock battle - Hero Dinh Bo Linh," transporting viewers back in time to the childhood of King Dinh Tien Hoang.
Traditional folk games are not just for playing; they are also stories to tell, so the 7th-grade students chose to tell them through film.

After three weeks of planning, scriptwriting, and filming, students from classes 7A2, 7A5, 7A6, 7A7, 7A8, and 7A10 created 11 short films about traditional folk games, recreating some familiar games such as tug-of-war, hopscotch, flag-grabbing, can-throwing, dragon and snake game, tag, and crocodile game. These games are being encouraged by schools for students to participate in during recess when they are not using their phones.

The exhibition area also displayed 8 creative products from classes 7A2, 7A3, 7A4, 7A6, 7A7, and 7A8. Students from these classes skillfully transformed outdoor games into sophisticated intellectual games, providing both entertainment after stressful study hours and reinforcing their knowledge of literature, history, geography, and more.
Speaking to reporters, Ms. Vu Thi Xoan, a literature teacher and homeroom teacher of class 7A9, shared that participating in this activity helped students understand and appreciate the value of folk culture. Through learning about and experiencing folk games, students became aware of the meaning, origin, and traditional values of the nation; fostering love and pride in Vietnamese cultural identity. This, in turn, formed an awareness of preserving and promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture in modern life.
In addition, through activities such as designing board games, making videos , performing arts, and painting, students develop creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, while enhancing their communication and teamwork abilities. Presentation and performance activities help students become more confident and learn to cooperate effectively within a group.
Connecting learning with practical experience makes literature more engaging and relatable by combining knowledge with hands-on activities.
