According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the training period will last one school year, including at least 28 weeks of actual study, in addition to review time, final exams and other supplementary activities.
The new point of the program is to enhance the content of practice and experiments in natural science subjects, while encouraging students to apply information technology and AI technology in their studies.
In addition, another notable point is that the program has a structure of 70% compulsory content and 30% proactively built by schools, helping to suit the needs of students and actual teaching conditions.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, this program is built on the foundation of the 2018 general education program, and adjusted to suit the characteristics of university preparatory schools. In the context of innovation and integration, the new program is expected to contribute to training high-quality human resources, especially in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, where students still face many limitations in learning conditions.
The Ministry of Education and Training believes that this is also the basis for teachers to innovate teaching methods, diversify classroom organization, thereby promoting students' initiative and creativity. For students, the new program not only consolidates and systematizes general knowledge but also adds advanced content and supports career orientation.
