National Defence Academy's practical training at Tan Cang International Container Port, Hai Phong.

Joining the delegation were representatives from various departments, faculties, and systems, as well as trainees from the 49th short-term advanced command and staff training course at the operational and strategic levels. Colonel Bui Si Tuan, Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation, presided over the welcoming ceremony.

After studying and researching the practical model of defense- economic development at TC-HICT port, the delegation held a working session with the leaders of Saigon Newport Corporation.

During the meeting, representatives from Saigon Newport Corporation informed the delegation about the results of the corporation's military, national defense, and business performance in general, and TC-HICT port in particular, regarding its military, national defense, and production and business activities. Speaking at the meeting, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Dong, Director of the Training and Education Department, National Defense Academy, expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders, staff, and employees of Saigon Newport Corporation for organizing a warm welcome for the delegation.

Witnessing the sustainable development of Saigon Newport Corporation, Major General Nguyen Van Dong emphasized: The field trip to Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Port serves as a basis for key leaders of the Academy and trainees of the 49th short-term advanced command and staff training course to learn more about the production and business model and exchange experiences on the implementation, management, operation and exploitation of port projects, logistics services, and the maritime economy of Saigon Newport Corporation - a military enterprise model that simultaneously performs the task of economic development linked with national defense and security.
