According to Time Out, July is the month for holidays, the summer month with rising temperatures and many exciting festivals. For many major cities and countries, July is also the best time for tourists to visit.

Ranked 7th on the list of the best destinations to travel in July, Hoi An was described by a British magazine as follows: “As the monsoon rains descend on Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, savvy travelers head to Vietnam’s central coast, where the weather is dry and warm. Some of the country’s most beautiful beaches are located here, along with UNESCO-recognized cities and stunning national parks.”

Visitors will be captivated by the lantern festival on the 1st, 14th, and 15th (lunar calendar) of each month and every Saturday. In the evening, the streets are adorned with magical lanterns, illuminating ancient temples, shrines, and tea houses.

Time Out suggests that travelers venture outside the city to relax on the long stretches of white sand beaches around Da Nang, bravely conquer the Hai Van Pass on a motorbike tour, and visit the ancient capital of Hue before returning to the mainland to admire the colossal Phong Nha Cave.
