According to Time Out, July is the month for vacations, the month of summer with high temperatures and many attractive festivals. For many major cities and countries, July is also the best time for tourists to visit.

Ranked 7th in the list of the best destinations to visit in July, Hoi An was introduced by the British magazine: “When the monsoon rains hit Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the savvy traveler will head to Vietnam’s central coast, where the weather is dry and warm. Some of the country’s best beaches are right here, along with UNESCO-listed cities and stunning national parks.”

Visitors will be fascinated when witnessing the lantern festival on the 1st, 14th, 15th (lunar calendar) of every month and every Saturday. In the evening, the streets are filled with magical lanterns illuminating the temples, ancient shrines or tea houses.

Time Out suggests getting out of the city to relax on the white sands that stretch around Da Nang, brave the Hai Van Pass on a motorbike tour and visit the Imperial City of Hue before heading back to the mainland to see the colossal Phong Nha Cave.

Besides Hoi An in Vietnam, the British magazine also listed many world-famous destinations to visit in July such as Amsterdam (Netherlands), Greenland, Cape Town (South Africa), Udaipur (India), the Northwest of England...
