Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Quoc Cuong emphasized that the implementation of the vote of confidence for the members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee must ensure the leadership of the Party, strictly implement the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism, and promote the responsibility of the person who is voted on and the person who writes the vote of confidence. The process of organizing the vote of confidence and using the results of the vote of confidence democratically, publicly and transparently aims to properly assess the prestige as well as the results of the performance of the assigned duties and tasks of the members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, helping them to promote the achieved results, self-examine, self-correct, continue to strive and practice in their work; strictly prohibiting acts of distorting the level of confidence or taking advantage of the vote of confidence to reduce the prestige of others, causing division and disunity within the organization.

In that spirit, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong requested the Provincial Party Executive Committee to review and evaluate objectively, comprehensively, and impartially the people who are voted for, and to express their level of trust in each member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee according to 3 levels: "high trust", "trust", and "low trust".
After careful analysis, in an objective and democratic spirit, delegates voted for the positions of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The basic vote counting results showed that all comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee received high votes of confidence.

The 18th Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference also carried out the process of electing additional members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission (PCI) for the 2020-2025 term.
