Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong emphasized that the process of conducting confidence votes for members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee must ensure the Party's leadership, strictly adhere to the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism, and uphold the responsibility of those being evaluated and those casting the votes. The process of organizing the confidence vote and using the results must be democratic, open, and transparent, aiming to accurately assess the prestige and performance of the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in fulfilling their assigned duties and responsibilities. This will help them build upon their achievements, self-reflect, self-correct, and continue to strive and improve in their work. Any actions that distort the level of confidence or exploit the confidence vote to undermine the prestige of others, cause division, or disrupt internal unity are strictly prohibited.

In that spirit, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong requested the Provincial Party Committee to objectively, comprehensively, and impartially consider and evaluate the individuals subject to the confidence vote, expressing their level of confidence in each member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee according to three levels: "high confidence," "confidence," and "low confidence."
After careful analysis, in an objective and democratic spirit, delegates cast votes of confidence for the positions of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The vote count results showed that most members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee received high votes of confidence.

The 18th Conference of the Provincial Party Committee also carried out the process of electing additional members to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, Chief Inspector of the Department of Industry and Trade, was nominated by the Provincial Party Standing Committee for election by the Provincial Party Committee to the position of additional member of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
After discussing and analyzing the list of candidates, based on the conditions and standards, and in a spirit of democracy and responsibility, the delegates unanimously elected Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, Chief Inspector of the Department of Industry and Trade, to the position of Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term with 100% of the votes from the delegates present at the conference.
