The first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune

(ABO) On July 24, at the hall of the Cultural House of Vinh Huu commune, Dong Thap province, the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune held its first conference for the 2023-2028 term. Attending the conference were comrade Ngo Van Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Huu commune, and comrades in the Executive Committee of the Commune Farmers' Association.

At the conference, the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Dong Thap province on the establishment of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune, including 10 branches, 84 Farmers' Association groups and 3,690 affiliated members (of the two communes of Long Vinh and Vinh Huu previously); 16 professional associations, 8 professional branches, was announced. At the same time, the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Dong Thap province on the appointment of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune, term 2023 - 2028, was announced. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune consists of 21 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 5 comrades; Comrade Vo Thi Mong Chieu was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune, Comrade Le Thi Yen Nga was appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune, term 2023 - 2028.

The conference also approved the Working Regulations and assigned tasks of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune for the 2023-2028 term; at the same time, approved the key work program for the last 6 months of 2025 with the consensus of 100% of the delegates attending the conference.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Ngo Van Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Huu commune, requested the Executive Committee of the Commune Farmers' Association for the new term to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, proactively innovate the content and methods of operation to excellently complete the assigned tasks. Strengthen propaganda work, mobilize members to participate in patriotic emulation movements, especially the movement of farmers competing in good production and business, building new rural areas.

In addition, the Commune Farmers' Association needs to focus on improving the quality of branch activities, building a team of qualified and dedicated Association officials; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of members, create consensus among the people, contribute to strengthening the political system at the grassroots level, especially focusing on converting crop structure in a direction that benefits farmers, re-planning production and livestock areas to achieve efficiency, improving the economy for members and farmers.

Comrade Ngo Van Dung believes that the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Vinh Huu commune for the 2023 - 2028 term will promote its role and responsibility, contributing to building Vinh Huu commune after the merger to become increasingly strong and worthy of being a core political and social organization in the cause of building new rural areas in the locality.
