Minister Nguyen Manh Hung was awarded the Medal for the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

On September 13, at the National Assembly House, the National Assembly Party Committee and the National Assembly Standing Committee held a symposium on Digital Literacy - Digital National Assembly: Framework of digital knowledge and skills for the modern National Assembly.

This activity demonstrates the National Assembly 's determination to digitally transform public service performance; implementing the specific direction of General Secretary To Lam to implement methodically, have a set of documents, organize training and evaluation so that each person clearly sees their responsibilities and needs, and serves their work more effectively.

Speaking at the conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the National Assembly has been implementing the Digital National Assembly for about 10 months now, upgrading from National Assembly App 1.0 to 2.0. During that process, there has been very active support from the Ministry of Science and Technology , directly by Minister Nguyen Manh Hung; support from Viettel Military Telecommunications Group, and Singaporean experts.

"In 10 months, we have deployed a huge amount of work, successfully applying the National Assembly App 2.0 right from the 9th Session of the National Assembly. Currently, the Ethnic Council and the National Assembly Committees have applied the National Assembly App 2.0, applying artificial intelligence to their operations. From being unfamiliar with it, most delegates, officials, civil servants and public employees at the Committees and Departments have become "passionate" and effectively used digital transformation in their operations. This is an extremely important change in terms of awareness and action," said Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the National Assembly is a pioneer in digital Parliament, which is a very important change in terms of awareness and action. This result is only the first step, so the National Assembly Chairman noted that it is necessary to continue to implement it systematically in the coming time and apply it to daily work.

In the coming time, the National Assembly Chairman requested that the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, and the departments within the National Assembly agencies must continue to train and study specialized topics, and at the same time research and train National Assembly deputies, National Assembly delegations, and People's Councils at the provincial and communal levels.

The National Assembly Chairman requested the Ministry of Science and Technology, directly Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, the Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group, and the Singaporean expert group to continue supporting the National Assembly on this Program, until the Digital Knowledge and Skills Framework for the Modern National Assembly is successfully completed.

At the conference, leaders of the Party, State and National Assembly pressed the button to launch the "Digital Education for the People - Digital National Assembly" platform and witnessed National Assembly agencies and Heads of National Assembly Delegations of 34 provinces and cities sign commitments for implementation.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man awarded the "For the Cause of the National Assembly of Vietnam" Medal of the National Assembly Standing Committee to Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung for his many contributions to the digital transformation process of the National Assembly of Vietnam.

On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented the "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" Medal to Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung and Chairman and General Director of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) Tao Duc Thang.
