Organize training courses to improve the quality of human resources in professional knowledge and cultural heritage inventory.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong signed Decision No. 3381/QD-BVHTTDL assigning the task of organizing training courses, fostering and coaching to improve the quality of human resources in professional knowledge and inventory of intangible cultural heritage and building intangible cultural heritage dossiers to include in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The Decision clearly states that the Department of Cultural Heritage shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize training courses to improve the quality of human resources in professional knowledge and inventory of intangible cultural heritage and build dossiers of intangible cultural heritage to include in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The course was organized to comprehensively assess the current state management of intangible cultural heritage in recent times, clarify the achievements, limitations, and causes, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage.

Foster and improve the professional qualifications and skills of staff directly in charge of the field of intangible cultural heritage in localities, including legal knowledge, inventory skills, scientific documentation, management and supervision of activities to protect and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage.

Raising awareness of the role and significance of intangible cultural heritage for sustainable development, in association with the national cultural development strategy and Vietnam's international commitments; Creating a forum for exchanging and sharing experiences, promoting coordination and connection between management agencies, professional units and local communities in protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage.

Training, fostering and coaching contents include: Reviewing and assessing the current status of the work of protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage; Assessing the development and implementation of projects/projects to protect and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage for intangible cultural heritages after being registered; Disseminating knowledge about newly issued legal documents in the field of intangible cultural heritage, sharing experiences to improve professional qualifications in the work of protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage; Guiding the implementation of inventory work in the province/city, developing a report on inventory results and establishing a scientific dossier of intangible cultural heritage proposed for inclusion in the National List of intangible cultural heritage.

At the end of the theoretical content, the class will visit and learn experiences in protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage Dao Thuc Water Puppetry (Thu Lam commune, Hanoi City) and Co Loa Festival (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi City).

The training course to improve the quality of human resources in professional knowledge and inventory of intangible cultural heritage and build intangible cultural heritage dossiers to include in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage will be held in Hanoi in October 2025 for 4 days.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that training, fostering and advanced training courses need to assess the current management status and effectiveness of the work of protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage of localities in each period.

Prepare the program content carefully, ensuring systematicity, scientificity and adherence to practical requirements of intangible cultural heritage management at all levels; Ensure that managers have access to basic updates of legal documents in the field of intangible cultural heritage to have a basis for application in practical work.

The lectures ensure good support for managers to clearly understand the spirit of legal documents in the field of intangible cultural heritage so that they can apply them in practical activities.
