Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park aims for Green List standards

VTV.vn - Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is making efforts to preserve nature and biodiversity towards the Green List standards of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

The Green List is a set of global standards to recognize protected areas that have achieved successful results in nature conservation. Participation in the Green List process goes through 3 rigorous and transparent stages. To date, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has completed the proposal stage and entered the assessment sequence of the candidate stage.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature's expert group in Vietnam assessed that Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has a relatively complete monitoring and reporting system; outstanding values ​​of nature, ecosystem services, and culture are clearly identified.

Phong Nha-Ke Bang is the only National Park in Vietnam to be twice listed on the " World Heritage List" by UNESCO.
