Conference of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union, Term V

Delegates attending the 5th Provincial Cooperative Union Executive Committee Conference, 8th session (expanded).

There are currently 435 cooperatives in operation in the province; 335 cooperatives; of which, 251 cooperatives are operating, 84 cooperatives have ceased operations and 5 cooperatives have been dissolved; the total charter capital of cooperatives is over 960 billion VND. In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Cooperative Union has always proactively coordinated and advised the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee in performing assigned tasks; organized conferences to improve the propaganda capacity of grassroots farmers' association officials, conferences to propagate the Law on Cooperatives 2023 for people in communes in the province, attracting more than 400 participants. The Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund has disbursed loans to 14 cooperatives and cooperatives with an amount of nearly 2.9 billion VND. The Provincial Cooperative Union has focused on leading, directing, developing plans and organizing the implementation of practical emulation movements with clear and specific goals and targets, suitable to the characteristics and conditions of the agency...

In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Cooperative Union has identified the following key tasks: Continue to coordinate and innovate propaganda methods on collective economic development. Implement consulting and support activities for collective economic development; consult and support the establishment of 5 cooperatives, 10 or more cooperative groups; in which, focus on developing forestry cooperatives and medicinal cooperatives of the province; consult on procedures and documents for dissolution of cooperatives...

The conference approved the draft Plan to organize the 6th Provincial Cooperative Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the certificate and trophy of the 2024 Cooperative Star Award to the Dien Bien Province Passenger, Goods and Service Transport Cooperative.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the certificate and the 2024 Cooperative Star Award to the Dien Bien Province Passenger, Goods and Service Transport Cooperative. The Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Ha Nam Binh Construction Materials Production Cooperative, the leading unit in the emulation movement in 2023. The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the Provincial Cooperative Alliance, Dien Bien Gift Cooperative and the Dien Bien Phu City Passenger, Goods and Service Transport Cooperative for their many achievements in the emulation movement, excellently completing the targets of the Emulation Cluster and Block in 2023.
