The meeting reviewed important contents: The implementation of socio -economic development in the first 6 months of the year and tasks and solutions in the last 6 months of 2024; the budget revenue and expenditure situation in the first 6 months of the year, tasks in the last 6 months of the year; the report of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district participating in government building and opinions and recommendations of voters and people at the 11th session of the District People's Council; the implementation of the public investment plan in the first 6 months of the year, estimated implementation for the whole year of 2024 and the expected public investment plan for 2025...

In the first 6 months of the year, the socio-economic development targets of Muong Ang district all met and exceeded the set plan. The district continued to focus on implementing the project on restructuring the agricultural sector in association with building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction. The total food output in the area reached over 8,200 tons; caring for and protecting nearly 2,200 hectares of existing coffee trees, continuing to plant over 500 hectares of new coffee; taking good care of 370 hectares of macadamia trees, 17 hectares of tea, over 500 hectares of fruit trees; forest coverage reached 34%. The total budget revenue in the area reached nearly 17 billion VND. Completing the adjustment of the detailed planning of Muong Ang town; successfully organizing events and completing works to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory...

The district People's Council delegate requested to explain the content related to the purchase and exploitation of production forest wood in Muong Lan commune.

At the meeting, the district People's Council delegates questioned the following issues: The suspension of support for buffalo and cow breeds to switch to a new coffee planting project of over 500 hectares; the purchase and exploitation of production forest timber in Muong Lan commune; the progress of upgrading and repairing the road from National Highway 279 to Muong Lan Commune People's Committee; land management in Bung Lao and Ang Cang communes; early construction of the road from Muong Ang town to Ang Cang lake; early completion of land area adjustment records for households that have donated land for concrete roads and roads to production areas;the education sector's solutions to solve the situation of mixed classes in highland villages; progress and solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in the construction of Nam Cum community tourism village, Ngoi Cay commune...

With a democratic spirit and high responsibility, the district People's Council delegates voted to pass 6 resolutions submitted at the meeting.
