At the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc approved and witnessed the leaders of the Institute of Military History and the Institute of National Defense Strategy sign the minute of handover of functions, tasks, organization, staffing and other tasks from the Institute of Military History to the Institute of National Defense Strategy, reorganizing it into the Institute of Strategy and History of National Defense of Vietnam.
