To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), on the afternoon of July 5, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PPL) organized a rehearsal of the opening program and a mass performance to welcome the sports festival for workers, civil servants and laborers of Thanh Hoa province.

As planned, the sports festival will take place on July 6 and 7, attracting 818 athletes from 35 direct superior trade unions and 3 grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor with 4 events: Table tennis, badminton, men's leather volleyball and women's volleyball. Athletes will compete in 8 events: Men's doubles table tennis (37 pairs), women's doubles table tennis (16 pairs), men's - women's doubles table tennis (34 pairs), men's doubles badminton (34 pairs), women's doubles badminton (21 pairs), men's - women's doubles badminton (28 pairs), men's leather volleyball (12 teams), women's volleyball (27 teams).

The matches will take place at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Quang Xuong District Multi-purpose Gymnasium.
