The propaganda and mobilization work to implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" (movement) has been directed and implemented by all levels and sectors through mass media, integrating propaganda on anniversaries, activities of branches, associations, and local governance models; building a healthy cultural environment focusing on effectively implementing grassroots cultural activities, families, performing arts, cultural heritage associated with tourism development, building local image; implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated December 31, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building culture and people of Dong Thap that are affectionate, dynamic, and creative"; promoting tourism development, contributing to building local image in the period 2021 - 2025; Promote grassroots democracy regulations, implement hamlet and residential area conventions (currently 698/698 hamlets and residential areas in the province have approved hamlet and residential area conventions), build safe residential communities, free of social evils, food hygiene and safety...

Besides, many agencies and units regularly do a good job of environmental sanitation, responding to climate change, building "Green Offices", green - clean - beautiful residential areas.

Building a model new rural road in Dong Thap

The movement to build cultural families continues to be widely deployed in residential areas and receives strong attention and response from all walks of life. By the end of 2024, the whole province has 426,314/407,421 families recognized as "Cultural Families", reaching a rate of 95.57% (an increase of 0.73% compared to 2023). The Typical Family Contest is held at the district and provincial levels with many new activities, attracting viewers, creating conditions for typical households to exchange and learn from each other's experiences, creating a movement to compete to build typical cultural and happy families in all sectors and levels; weddings, funerals and festivals are carried out in a civilized way of life; activities take place in accordance with the law, ensuring solemnity, imbued with national cultural identity, typical of Southern culture and Dong Thap people; The movement to build "cultural hamlets and villages" has developed widely, and the number of hamlets and villages that meet standards has been increasingly improved in quality and quantity. In 2024, the whole province will have 697/698 hamlets and villages recognized as "cultural hamlets and villages", reaching a rate of 99.86%, an increase of 0.38% compared to 2023.

In addition, Dong Thap province also hosted and participated in organizing the "Festival of typical families of provinces and cities in the Southwest region, 5th time, 2024" with many outstanding results (Dong Thap delegation won 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and excellently won the first prize for the whole delegation);

The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" is closely linked with the movement, the National Target Program on new rural construction, the "For the poor" fund, the transfer of scientific and technical advances into production, restructuring of crops and livestock, building new rural areas, restructuring agriculture, developing tourism... together with other patriotic emulation movements have strongly aroused the spirit of solidarity, mutual assistance and mutual help in residential areas, with many appropriate forms and models; mobilized resources among the people along with the investment and orientation of the State, through investment projects to build socio -economic infrastructure, national programs to solve employment; social security policies, care for the poor, sustainable poverty reduction; protection of environmental landscape, encouragement of learning and talent; maintaining self-management models (the model of self-management People's Groups has 12,319 Groups with 441,170 member households; 153 Assembly Halls with 7,883 members; 21 Self-management Groups of national border markers and border security and order with 395 members; 61 Great Solidarity Spaces with 970 members); mobilizing resources in the community to invest in socio-economic development through implementing the motto of the State and the People working together, strongly promoting the implementation of national programs and goals set by the State. In addition, mobilizing people's contributions to repair rural roads, build charity houses, build new and repair bridges, donate land for roads, build fences, flagpoles, etc.; many cultural institutions have received investment attention from the locality, many types of culture, art, and festival activities have promoted the strength of national solidarity.

Periodically (November 18 every year, commemorating the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels guide hamlets and villages to organize the "Great National Unity" Festival in residential areas, with many innovations and creativity, while praising and rewarding exemplary households (each year, on average, more than 700 events are organized, attracting nearly 60,000 participants) along with cultural, artistic, physical education, sports and folk games activities, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the community.

The Movement Steering Committee, Working Committee, and Mobilization Committee at all levels directed and organized the combination of the movement with other emulation movements associated with economic, social and professional tasks to bring about high efficiency such as the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; National target program on new rural construction; Movement "All people participate in protecting national security"; "Good farmers, unite to help each other eliminate hunger and reduce poverty"; "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families"... attracting a large number of cadres, party members, members and people to participate; the model of the "Sustainable family development" Club continued to be maintained and developed; the number of domestic violence cases was reduced, contributing significantly to building cultural life, especially in rural and border areas.
