"Technology convergence - elevating Vietnamese electronics"

On September 10, in Hanoi, the NEPCON Vietnam 2025 International Exhibition organized by RX Tradex Vietnam officially opened. The event gathered more than 300 technology brands, marking the 18th consecutive organization of the prestigious specialized event on SMT technology, testing technology, machinery and equipment and supporting industries for the electronics industry.

With this year's theme "Technology Convergence - Elevating Vietnamese Electronics", the event affirms the mission of continuous innovation to accompany the Vietnamese electronics industry on its journey of strong transformation. The exhibition takes place from September 10-12, 2025, and is expected to welcome more than 10,000 regional and international trade visitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Varaporn Dhamcharee, General Director of RX Tradex Thailand and Vietnam, emphasized that NEPCON Vietnam is not only a place to showcase technology, but also a symbol of integration, cooperation and innovation. According to her, the exhibition is designed as a comprehensive ecosystem where Vietnamese enterprises can access advanced technology, expand their international partner network and take advantage of synergy to create sustainable added value for the electronics industry.

From the perspective of the exhibiting business community, Mr. Daniel Lim, General Director of HIBEX Vietnam, said that Vietnam has become one of the most dynamic economies in Asia. He emphasized that NEPCON Vietnam is a bridge for businesses to not only access advanced technology but also build a network of cooperation, exchange experiences and open up opportunities for innovation for sustainable development.

Sharing the same view, Ms. Do Thi Thuy Huong, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries (VASI), Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Electronics Industry Association (VEIA), affirmed that NEPCON Vietnam has become an important forum in the region. This is where businesses, suppliers and experts not only share knowledge and introduce technological achievements, but also promote practical cooperation to improve the competitiveness of the supporting industry, contributing to bringing "Made in Vietnam" products further.

With the support of associations, specialized organizations and international partner networks from more than 30 countries, the exhibition aims to build a comprehensive platform, connecting technology, markets and supply chains between domestic enterprises and the global electromagnetic manufacturing community.

In parallel with the exhibition activities, NEPCON Vietnam 2025 also organizes a series of programs on the main stage with three prominent focuses: strategic dialogue sessions to enhance the position of Vietnam's electromagnetic industry in collaboration with VEIA; technology and solution sharing sessions from pioneering enterprises such as Hibex, Cicor, Brady, JIT Industrial to support enhancing competitiveness; and skill competitions such as hand soldering and electronic repair, wire harness assembly in collaboration with the International Electronics Consortium (IPC).

In particular, the winning team will represent Vietnam at the international final round in Munich (Germany) next November, an opportunity to affirm Vietnam's skills on the global stage, while promoting quality standardization and human resource training according to international standards.
