The Lam Dong Association of Literature and Arts sets high standards for innovation in content and methods of operation.

On the afternoon of December 19th, the Lam Dong Provincial Association of Literature and Arts held its first conference for the 2023-2028 term to evaluate the results of its activities in 2025, discuss directions and tasks for 2026, and decide on several important organizational matters of the Association.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; representatives of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; as well as leaders of specialized branches and sub-branches and a large number of members of the literature and arts association in the province.

Delegates attending the Conference focused on listening to the report summarizing cultural and artistic activities in 2025 and the direction and tasks for 2026.

2025 is a particularly significant year, marking many cultural and artistic activities linked to major national events; at the same time, it is also the first year the Association operates in the context of organizational mergers, expansion of geographical areas and membership size, placing high demands on innovation in content and methods of operation.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Dieu, Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, presented the plan for restructuring, ending activities, and merging branches and sub-branches at the conference.

At the conference, delegates heard a summary report on the activities of literature and arts in 2025 and the direction and tasks for 2026.

Accordingly, in 2025, the Association organized numerous creative workshops, field trips, exhibitions, seminars, and published literary and artistic magazines and books, attracting a large number of members to participate.

Many works have won regional, national, and international awards, contributing to promoting the image of Lam Dong's land and people.

Mr. Ngo Van Khoa, a member of the Executive Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, gave a speech on ideological work and motivating members in the new phase.

The conference voted to approve the report summarizing the activities of the arts and culture association in 2025; the direction and tasks for 2026; and the plan for reorganizing, ending operations, and merging the branches and sub-branches of the three former provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan , and Dak Nong, forming a system of branches directly under the Lam Dong Provincial Arts and Culture Association (new).

At the same time, the plan involves electing two additional members to the Standing Committee of the Association to strengthen its organizational structure.

Member Tran Ngoc Trac presented the draft plan for the activities of the Lam Dong Provincial Association of Literature and Arts in the coming period.

The conference devoted considerable time to discussion and contributions from delegates. The focus was on solutions to improve the quality of creative work, the training of young talents, the development of membership among ethnic minorities, and the expansion of literary and artistic activities to connect with real-life social issues.

Ms. Le Thi Truc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, delivered a speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, a representative of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province requested the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts to continue to promote its role in gathering and uniting the team of artists and writers; to orient creative works to closely adhere to political tasks, vividly reflect social life, and build national unity.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Deputy Head of the Organization and Inspection Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, delivered a speech sharing his opinions at the conference.

Representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province also emphasized the need for the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts to quickly stabilize its organization and consolidate its apparatus after the merger; paying attention to understanding the thoughts and aspirations of members, especially those from the former localities and organizations, creating consensus and unity throughout the Association.

In addition, it is necessary to review and improve the operating regulations, clearly assign tasks, promote the role of specialized branches and sub-branches, and ensure smooth and effective operation to meet the requirements of the new phase.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, Dang Ba Canh, acknowledged and accepted the heartfelt opinions of the delegates.

At the same time, the Executive Committee affirmed that it will continue to promote the spirit of unity and creativity, build the Association into an increasingly strong organization, and make practical contributions to the socio-cultural development of the province in the coming time.
