Over 1.4 million license plates are about to go up for auction.

The Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and VPA Company, the unit organizing the license plate auction, have planned to hold the 10th license plate auction. In this auction, more than 1.4 million license plates for cars and motorcycles will be listed for people to choose from. The 10th auction will take place from May 11th, featuring a series of attractive license plates for cars and motorcycles.

From the 10th auction onwards, the Traffic Police Department will issue license plate confirmation decisions on the same day for license plates with only one registered bidder; for cases with two or more bidders, the issuance time is 3 days (shortened compared to Decree 156). To date, the Traffic Police Department has successfully coordinated with VPA Company to organize 9 auctions, with approximately 14 million license plates listed. Of these, over 250,000 license plates were selected for auction and over 600,000 customers registered to participate. The total amount of winning bids reached nearly 14,000 billion VND. The winning bids have deposited the money into a dedicated collection account to be remitted to the state budget.
