On the afternoon of September 28, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An, said that this is an urgent directive to promptly respond to storm Bualoi (storm No. 10), which is forecast to have a wide range of influence, strong winds and complicated developments.
“On September 29 (Monday), all students in the province will be off school. Schools must notify parents and students early so that they are aware, and promptly review and implement storm prevention plans,” said Mr. Hoan.

The Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An said that the whole province has nearly 950,000 students at all levels.
Nghe An Department of Education and Training requires schools, especially those located along rivers, streams, coastal areas or areas at risk of landslides, to take measures to reinforce classrooms and move equipment and school supplies to safe places. Schools in areas with rising tides need to coordinate with local authorities to respond promptly.
According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, depending on the actual situation, schools will continue to let students stay home after the storm if the physical conditions or transportation are not guaranteed. School administrators are required to be on duty 24/7, report developments and handle emergency situations.
In Quang Tri , the Department of Education and Training of this province also issued a document requesting all educational institutions in the area to let 433,000 students and trainees stay home from school on September 29.
The Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri also directed schools to urgently inspect facilities, review campuses, and proactively evacuate students and teachers in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and flash floods.

Localities in Thanh Hoa announced that all preschool and primary school students will be off school on September 29 to ensure safety.
From September 30, educational institutions will proactively monitor the storm's developments and post-storm circulation, report to the People's Committees of communes, wards and the Department of Education and Training to decide whether to let students stay home from school (if deemed necessary).
Educational institutions need to review, inspect and consolidate school facilities, especially at remote schools in remote areas, where there is a high risk of landslides and flooding; move assets, machinery, equipment, desks, chairs, and records to safe places.

Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also requested educational establishments to be ready to receive people taking shelter from the storm; promptly repair damage and clean up schools and classrooms immediately after the storm passes.
In Ha Tinh, Mr. Vo Trong Hai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directed the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee to decide to let students stay home from school based on the storm and flood situation in the area to ensure safety.
The Chairman of Ha Tinh province also requested the Department of Education and Training to deploy work to ensure safety for personnel, equipment and infrastructure under the management of the sector, in order to limit damage and not affect teaching and learning in schools.
