This morning (August 22), more than 67,000 students in grades 1, 9 and 12 in Ha Tinh returned to school. Accordingly, for first graders, in the first two weeks, the school will organize activities to help them get acquainted with the school, teachers and learning routine.

Students are also instructed on how to hold a pen, how to sit, how to use books, prepare school supplies, and get familiar with the timetable and classroom rules. This helps them not to be confused and ready to enter the official curriculum after the opening day.

The new thing about this school year is that students in grades 9 and 12 will return to school two weeks early. This is considered a solid stepping stone for final year students to start reviewing early, consolidate knowledge, and reduce pressure before the transition and graduation exams.

This is especially necessary when this year the 2026 High School Graduation Exam is expected to take place about 2 weeks earlier than last year.
