According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5 PM on July 30th - the time when the online registration portal closed - the Ministry's general admissions support system recorded a total of over 733,000 candidates registering their preferences, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
Compared to last year, the number of candidates registering for university admission has increased. Specifically, in 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their admission preferences on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registering for the 2023 high school graduation exam. Meanwhile, this figure was 64.1% in 2022.
After the system closes, candidates will no longer be able to register or adjust their application preferences. According to the plan, from July 31st to 5 PM on August 6th, candidates registering for university admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's common system must pay the fee online through the National Public Service Portal.

The virtual filtering process will take place from August 13th to 5 PM on August 17th. After this period, universities may announce the cutoff scores and admission results to candidates.
By 5 PM on August 19th at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of admission scores and results for the first round of admissions.
