In the competition, contestants race against time to climb a 14-meter-high tower of dumplings and collect as many as possible within 3 minutes. Scores are calculated based on the height of the dumplings collected, with those at the top of the tower believed to bring the most luck to the winner's family.


Contestants struggled to climb the 14-meter-high tower to grab lucky dumplings amidst the cheers of a large crowd.
In the end, ice climber Janet Kung and firefighter Kwok Ka-ming brilliantly won the "Queen" and "King of Dumplings" titles respectively this year. Notably, this marks Kwok's 11th time stepping onto the podium at this competition.

The Changzhou Dumpling Festival (also known as the Taiping Qingxiao Festival) is one of the world's most unique local festivals. This ritual has been maintained by the people for over a century to pray for peace and ward off misfortune.

A spectacular fireworks display by the dumpling tower brought the unique traditional festival to a close, much to the delight of locals and tourists alike.
This year's festival, held from May 21st to 25th, attracted a large number of visitors from all over the country.
