Ms. Tina Phan, Director of Indochina at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), stated that HKTDC has announced five international trade fairs to be held in Hong Kong in early 2024, which will be ideal events for Vietnamese businesses to source goods or expand into new markets. These include a toy and games fair; a children's products fair; an international stationery and school supplies fair; an international diamond, gemstone, and pearl exhibition; and a jewelry exhibition. Ms. Tina Phan also encouraged buyers, distributors, and retailers from Vietnam to visit Hong Kong to explore supply sources.
Meanwhile, Ronald Ho, Director of Southeast Asia and South Asia at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, provided further information and introduced a new feature: HKTDC: Click2Match - an AI-powered platform designed to optimize business connections before, during, and after exhibitions, as well as create a level playing field for participating businesses.
