Advisory Council meeting to determine specialized science and technology tasks of Science, Engineering and Technology to be implemented in 2026

On the afternoon of August 11, the Provincial Advisory Council for Determining Science and Technology Tasks in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering (hereinafter referred to as the Advisory Council) held a meeting to review and evaluate 11 research proposals to serve the development of a list of tasks to be implemented in 2026. Comrade Nong Thi Thanh Huyen - Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN), Chairwoman of the Advisory Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, members of the Advisory Council discussed each proposed task and based on Circular 09/2024/TT-BKHCN, dated February 27, 2024, regulating the management of provincial and grassroots science and technology tasks using the state budget, the tasks must meet the following requirements: Ensuring novelty, advancedness and significance for socio- economic development, national defense, security and social security; the expected products have the potential to improve productivity, quality and efficiency; the research results create scientific arguments and solutions to solve practical problems in the locality...

After reviewing the proposed tasks, the members of the Advisory Council assessed: Many topics have creative ideas, are of necessary importance, are feasible to implement, and meet the practical needs of the locality. However, some topics need to focus on: Product processing technology; provide linkages towards market output; counterpart capital for implementing the topic needs to be specifically considered and balanced to meet practical requirements...

The Advisory Council identified 4/11 scientific and technological tasks in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology, and proposed them to the Provincial Science Council for consideration./.
