+ Editor's Advice:
Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is suitable for male users who need a modern smartwatch with long battery life and full support for health monitoring and sports training features such as running, cycling or golfing.
However, the large and bulky design makes the device less suitable for small wrists, and it also lacks AI features and does not support independent calling. These are points that Huawei needs to improve in the future.
Design and display
The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro inherits the octagonal watch face design that is typical of the Watch GT series. The bezel is beveled in 3D, giving it an angular and strong appearance. Compared to its predecessor, this design does not create too many breakthroughs, but is still eye-catching enough to make a good impression on the wearer.

In addition, the watch is also equipped with high-quality materials, including scratch-resistant sapphire glass, aerospace-grade titanium frame, ceramic back and anti-corrosion nano coating. These equipment provides optimal durability during use.
The 46mm size combined with the wide frame makes the overall design of the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro relatively large. Therefore, the device will only be suitable for male users with large wrists.
The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro offers three different strap options, including a titanium strap (silver), a synthetic textile strap (brown), and a synthetic rubber strap (black). Of which, the titanium strap version offers the most similar wearing and viewing experience to traditional watches.
The titanium strap is designed quite intelligently with a mechanism to remove the joints to change the width of the strap. Users can quickly customize the strap size to fit their wrist without having to spend time taking it to watch stores.
However, the titanium strap is quite slippery so it is not suitable for playing high-impact sports. Users should replace it with a rubber strap when participating in these sports.
The plus point is that the watch allows for quick strap replacement by simply pressing a button on the back. Users can use different types of straps depending on their specific needs and situations.
The right side has a rotary control button and another button that allows quick access to functions. Users can customize this button according to their usage habits, such as quickly opening sports training mode, heart rate measurement application, SpO2 measurement, etc. Meanwhile, the microphone and speaker are located at the bottom.

The back of the watch is where the sensors used to monitor health are located. This area is designed to be higher than the surface, helping the sensors to have better contact with the wrist, thereby increasing the accuracy of the measurement results.
The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, which is 5.5% larger than its predecessor, while the bezels are 10% thinner. The display has also been upgraded with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits (compared to a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits on the Watch GT 5 Pro), making the content more visible even when viewed in bright sunlight.
The screen has a refresh rate of 60Hz, making swiping, tapping and switching between applications smoother. The watch also supports Always on Display mode. However, it should be noted that when this mode is activated, the device will consume more power and battery life will also decrease.
Support sports training and health monitoring
The watch is equipped with Huawei Sunflower 2.0 positioning system, which uses an improved algorithm combined with a new antenna structure and 6 dual-band satellites. The upgrade helps the device determine the user's location 20% more accurately than the previous generation.

Testing with outdoor walking mode in an area with many apartments and high-rise buildings, the positioning system on Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro works relatively fast and stable, without losing signal during the move.
When activating the outdoor walking mode, the watch only takes about 2-3 seconds to locate the position and display GPS information. Even when moving in hidden locations, the map information is still accurately redrawn, without deviation.
During the workout, users also receive real-time voice guidance to ensure they stay on track. Additionally, users can proactively create a route map, download or import routes in advance for offline use.
In cross-country running mode, Huawei also added new features to support users throughout the journey. During the run, users can observe more new information such as elevation charts, estimated distance to the stop, real-time slope and speed measurement.
The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is also the first smartwatch to integrate a virtual power index when cycling. This feature works in real time based on information such as speed, altitude, level, personal weight and bike type. This helps users easily monitor, thereby evaluating and improving efficiency when cycling.
In addition, the watch also supports more than 100 different sports training modes. Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is also one of the few smartwatches on the market that integrates a golf mode. The device provides descriptive images and sounds to guide users during training.

Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro fully supports various health monitoring features such as heart rate measurement, ECG, arterial stiffness detection, blood oxygen level measurement (SpO2), sleep quality analysis, stress level detection and menstrual cycle prediction.
With Huawei TruSense technology, the watch improves heart rate accuracy when cycling up to 98% and up to 95% when running on the terrain.
The device's ability to track emotional health has also been improved. Stress measurement time has been shortened to just 10 minutes, instead of 30 minutes as before. The watch can recognize 12 different emotional states, helping users understand their own mood and make appropriate adjustments.
Other smart features
Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is installed with HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system with a minimalist, easy-to-use interface. The device supports a variety of watch faces, allowing users to upload personal photos and design them to suit their needs.

The icons and letters are designed in large sizes, easy to operate. The watch allows connection to both Android and iOS phones via the Huawei Health application, supports data synchronization and receives message and call notifications.
The connection between the watch and the phone is also stable, without any slow notification or connection errors during use. The device also does not encounter problems related to font errors or emoji display errors like some competitors.
The device also supports direct calls on the watch when connected to the phone via Bluetooth. Users can answer voice calls and calls from third-party applications such as Messenger, Telegram or Zalo. It is quite unfortunate that this watch model does not have an eSIM option, so users cannot use the device to make calls independently.
In addition, the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro also completely lacks AI features to support users. In the context of AI being increasingly integrated into many technology devices, this is a limitation that Huawei will need to overcome soon to compete with rivals.
Battery life is a big improvement on the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro. The device uses high-silicon battery technology, which provides higher energy density and significantly longer battery life. Thanks to that, the battery life of the watch lasts an extra week compared to its predecessor.

In basic usage mode, the device supports 21 days of use. With regular usage, the watch can meet the needs of use for 12 days. With trail running mode, users can use it continuously for 40 hours.
In the Vietnamese market, Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is also equipped with QR payment feature with MoMo application, helping users to pay right on their wrist.
However, this feature only supports Android phone users so far and still has some limitations when compared to Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay solutions.
Summary
Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is on sale in the Vietnamese market with a starting price of 7.69 million VND. In the same price range, this watch model competes directly with rivals such as Samsung Galaxy Watch8, Apple Watch S11 and Garmin vivoactive 6.

The product is aimed at male users who love a modern, sporty style and need a smartwatch with long battery life and full health monitoring features. GT 6 Pro also supports many professional training modes such as cross-country running, cycling or golfing, suitable for those who often exercise outdoors.
However, the large and somewhat bulky design makes the device less suitable for female users or those with small wrists. In addition, the lack of AI features, no support for independent calling and only being able to talk via Bluetooth are limitations that Huawei needs to overcome in future versions.
