Hue welcomes a group of cross-Vietnam tourists on a luxury train.

(To Quoc) - On December 22, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Department of Tourism announced that it had organized a welcoming ceremony for a group of tourists on the luxury SJourney train that stopped in Hue as part of its cross-Vietnam journey.

Accordingly, the group of seven members, considered high-end tourists, were the first to travel on Vietnam Railways' luxury cruise train. During their journey across Vietnam, the train passed through famous destinations such as Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, and Hoi An… This morning, the train arrived at Hue Station. The Thua Thien Hue tourism department organized a welcoming ceremony for the group, presenting flowers and gifts to the members.

In Hue, passengers will participate in a Vespa tour to visit tourist attractions such as the Imperial Citadel, the bronze casting village, Ho Quyen, the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, Thanh Tien paper flower village, and experience Hue's cuisine . Around 10 PM on the same day, these passengers will board the train to continue their journey.

Reportedly, the SJourney train is the first 5-star luxury train in Vietnam, operated by PYS Travel. All train compartments are designed with high-end interiors meeting international standards. The ticket price per passenger for this cross-Vietnam journey ranges from approximately 186 million VND/person in 2024 and around 210 million VND/person in 2025.

The tourism industry in Thua Thien Hue is welcoming a large number of visitors. In Hue, tourists will have the opportunity to experience and explore the city on Vespa tours.

Each week, there will be one trans-Vietnam train departing from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (SE61) and one train departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi (SE62). The journey will last 8 days and 7 nights.
