In 2025, the City's Military Service Council successfully completed its recruitment, training, and reserve force exercises, receiving recognition, commendation, and evaluation from the 4th Military Region Command as a leading unit in the Military Region.

2026 marks the first year of implementing the task of recruiting and training reserve forces under the two-tiered local government model. Therefore, the City Military Service Council proposes continued dissemination and promotion of the 2025 Military Service Law and related documents, directives, and guidelines concerning the recruitment and training of reserve forces.

Strengthen the leadership and guidance of Party committees and governments at all levels; promote the advisory role of the Military Service Council in recruitment, training, exercises, and readiness checks for reserve forces. Promote the application of information technology and data digitization; organize the registration and strict management of the number and quality of young people of military age.

Continue to finalize military service records, prioritizing the selection of young men with high educational qualifications, good morals, good health, and clear political backgrounds. Coordinate closely and create the best conditions for receiving units in the process of reviewing records and finalizing enlistment numbers. At the same time, consistently ensure the welfare and support policies for military families; focus on vocational training, career counseling, and job placement for demobilized soldiers. Resolutely and strictly handle any collectives or individuals who violate regulations in the implementation of military recruitment and reserve force training.
