Following the launching ceremony of the "Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho" tree planting campaign this morning, February 2nd, in Tuyen Quang , the Central Committee of the Youth Union supported its members in planting 20 hectares of forest. 31 provincial and city youth unions nationwide participated in this special event.

At the Tan Trao Special National Historical Site in Son Duong district, youth union members planted more than 2 hectares of forest, including species such as ironwood, Shorea spp., and several other fruit trees.
On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Youth Union also supported the "Livelihood Orchard" project for households in Minh Thanh commune (Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province).
Speaking at the tree planting ceremony and the launch of the emulation campaign to celebrate the Party Congress at all levels, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, urged all Youth Union members and young people nationwide, with all their pure hearts, to start with small but practical, meaningful, and beneficial actions for the community, homeland, and country, contributing to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere within the Youth Union at all levels.

According to Huy, Youth Union officials and members should continue to play their role in actively contributing feedback to the draft documents of the Party Congress at all levels. They should focus on areas where young people excel, such as entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation.
"Suggestions need to be taken seriously and invested in quality, increasing the intellectual content of young people in their contributions, especially focusing on the strengths of young people such as digital transformation, innovative entrepreneurship, etc.," Huy said.
Five specific targets to be achieved through concrete projects in chào mừng the Party Congress at all levels.

The Central Committee of the Youth Union has set five targets for all levels of the Youth Union to achieve, including: 100% of Youth Union branches conducting propaganda before, during, and after Party congresses at all levels; 100% of Youth Union members who are Party members participating in providing feedback on Party congress documents at all levels; and launching a volunteer campaign to support the completion of 2,000km of expressways.
Implement 67 youth projects at the provincial level and 1,377 youth projects at the district level. Each commune, ward, and town youth union has at least one youth project or activity and a target of recommending at least 200,000 outstanding Party members for the Party to consider for admission.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Van Chien, member of the Politburo and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, suggested that the results of the emulation campaign should be realized through specific projects and tasks with clear and practical products.
"These could be bridges, roads, libraries, classrooms, or scientific research projects, innovative startup projects, modern and efficient production models led by young people," Mr. Chien said.

The emulation movement should also aim to foster trust, love, and attachment among young people to the Party, and to uphold their responsibility to themselves, their families, and society.
On this occasion, the Central Youth Union provided support to 15 youth houses affected by Typhoon Yagi, one "Happy House," and assisted in building community sports fields, Red Scarf houses, youth orchards, and rural roads. They also provided 13 billion VND from loans from the National Fund for Employment channeled through the Central Youth Union. The total resources deployed during this emulation campaign amounted to over 21 billion VND.
