Hyundai Thanh Cong Commercial launches premium large passenger bus.

The Hyundai Universe Prestige targets the premium passenger transport segment, priced at 4.5 billion VND, with deliveries starting in January.

Hyundai Thanh Cong Commercial (HTCV) launched a line of large passenger buses at the beginning of the year, amidst the growing high-end passenger transport segment. According to the company, the requirements for these vehicles extend beyond simply carrying capacity, encompassing brand building strategies, service experiences, and catering to luxury tours, expert transportation, and international guests.

Accordingly, the Hyundai Universe Prestige has a 47-seat configuration and a modern exterior design. It features new-generation LED headlights for improved visibility at night, a large, single-piece windshield, and a front and rear section constructed from stamped steel instead of pressed composite. The chassis is a monocoque system designed and developed by Hyundai, with the body, floor, and frame integrated into a single unit.

The company announced that the entire chassis is treated with ED (Electrostatic Dip) paint technology, creating a uniform protective layer that resists corrosion in Vietnam's hot and humid climate. The passenger compartment is designed to European standards, with comfortable, cushioned seats that support the back and spine, and footrests in the front seats. Each seat has its own USB port, air vents, and individual reading lights. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a CO2 sensor to monitor air quality.

The Universe Prestige cockpit is optimally designed for the driver, featuring multi-directional adjustable air-suspension seats. The dashboard includes a push-button start, wireless charging, etc. The vehicle is equipped with a 12,742 cc D6CP engine producing 440 horsepower and a 6-speed ZF Ecoshift transmission. Safety features include a pneumatic drum brake system, EBS, VDC, EHS, RSC, and ZF auxiliary braking systems.

According to the manufacturer, with these upgrades, the Hyundai Universe Prestige will become a worthwhile option for transportation businesses, aiming to standardize services, enhance passenger experience, and build brand image in the high-quality 47-seat passenger bus segment in Vietnam.
