The iPhone 15 series officially went on sale in Vietnam on September 29 and quickly fell into a shortage of some models such as the iPhone 15 Pro Max in natural Titan color or the iPhone 15 Plus in pink. According to domestic retailers, in the week from October 17 to 24, warehouses were replenished with new shipments, with a volume equal to about 60% of the opening sale period to "quench the thirst" of the market.
Talking to Thanh Nien , Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of CellphoneS said that in the new batch, the proportion of iPhone 15 Pro Max accounts for 70% of the total number of devices imported to Vietnam, however, the main color proportion is still Titan Blue (Blue). The natural Titan, white and black colors have improved but still do not meet the general demand.
The iPhone 15 series shipment at the end of October is ready to reach consumers in Vietnam.
"With the iPhone 15 Pro Max in particular, this year there is a relatively even distribution between color versions, although Natural Titan and White Titan are still the main choices. But when compared to last year's iPhone 14 Pro Max generation, where 80% of customers wanted purple, there will be a big difference," commented Mr. Lac Huy.
A month after the launch and the additional batch of goods, the price of the iPhone 15 series in Vietnam has "cooled down" compared to the launch time. Currently, authorized dealers (AARs) have begun to adjust the price down from 500,000 to 1.5 million VND depending on the model and memory version.
Referring to the official website of the AARs, the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 256 GB capacity at The Gioi Di Dong (TGDĐ) is priced at 34.99 million VND, at FPT Shop it is 34.49 million VND, at CellPhoneS it is 33.99 million VND and at Di Dong Viet it is 33.79 million VND (the price of the Titan blue version, the Titan white and black versions are a few hundred thousand VND higher, the natural Titan alone is priced at 34.89 million VND). Similarly, the 512 GB version has the cheapest recorded price of nearly 39 million VND if the buyer chooses a "less hot" color.
The iPhone 15 Pro also slightly decreased from 500,000 to 700,000 VND compared to the listed price of 28.99 million VND when it was launched. The lowest price of this device is currently around 27.8 million VND. The higher capacity versions including 256 GB and 512 GB also decreased slightly and there is a difference of 1 - 1.5 million VND between dealers and depending on the color.

Mr. Nguyen The Kha - Commercial Director of FPT Shop system shared that at the end of October, the system received a large amount of allocated goods, most of which were iPhone 15 Pro Max 256 GB and more than half of these were natural Titan color - the color version that "sold out" right at the opening sale stage and has been in short supply for the past months. Therefore, this is still the peak time for the system to pay off the deposit and open normal retail for customers who are still waiting for this color.
"The very positive results with the iPhone 15 series when it was launched are a good sign not only for the launch month but also for the rest of the year. We hope that with the macroeconomic situation showing signs of recovery, the year-end shopping season will have a positive impact on smartphone sales in particular and retail sales in general to make up for the difficult period at the beginning of the year," said Mr. Nguyen The Kha.
In addition to the option of buying from AAR, Vietnamese consumers this year can buy iPhones from the official online Apple Store, however, the selling price will be less adjusted and not as competitive as at dealers due to the price listing policy. After ordering and paying, the product will be delivered to users via a domestic shipping unit.
