After inspecting the actual situation at Hoa Nhon Primary School No. 2 and Hoa Nhon Kindergarten - Ninh An school, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan acknowledged and shared the current difficulties of Ba Na commune in terms of facilities and educational equipment, which are still inadequate, requiring investment attention in the coming time.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the commune leaders to review and re-evaluate the staff framework in the commune, plan staff, manage schools and report specifically to the city.
The commune needs to consider planning the system of kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and teacher networks, facilities, infrastructure, and population size to calculate long-term plans.
In addition, there are investment roadmaps, projects to upgrade, repair, and build new educational facilities managed by the commune so that people have the opportunity to access good educational facilities.
Departments, branches, sectors and localities focus on reviewing infrastructure, equipment and orienting investment in appropriate phases, ensuring investment in qualified schools.
Focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning. Local authorities, schools and parents must closely coordinate in education, not allowing students to drop out of school due to difficult circumstances.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee acknowledged the contributions of departments, branches, and sectors, and the proposals of the commune, including the plan to expand a number of schools.
The commune and related units are requested to complete the plan, report to the Department of Education and Training to preside, work with related sectors, and submit to the City People's Committee for approval as soon as possible.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Ba Na commune, in the 2025-2026 school year, the commune has 8 schools, of which 7 are public schools meeting national standards level 1; 1 private kindergarten with a total of nearly 5,000 students. Currently, some schools in the commune are degraded and do not meet the conditions for boarding students.
In addition, some areas are affected by new projects such as Hoa Ninh Industrial Park, resettlement project No. 2 serving the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway. New resettlement projects increase the mechanical population, leading to the need for schools.
Therefore, the People's Committee of Ba Na commune proposed: expanding the main Hoa Nhon Kindergarten to receive students from Phuoc Hung point (affected by resettlement project No. 2 serving Hoa Lien Tuy Loan expressway); expanding the main facility of Hoa Nhon Primary School No. 1 to build a multi-purpose house, subject teaching rooms and new classrooms to receive students from Phu Hoa point; expanding Nguyen Viet Xuan Secondary School to build a multi-purpose house and sports field.
At the same time, the commune proposed to invest in 3 new schools including: Hoa Ninh Kindergarten, Hoa Ninh Primary School at the new location of An Son village (because the current school is affected by the clearance of Hoa Ninh Industrial Park); Hoa Nhon Primary School No. 2 at the new school of Ninh An village (because the current school has inadequate area and facilities and to consolidate Ninh An and Phuoc Hung schools).
