Many residents in the city of Tyre reported intense airstrikes. But many were unable to leave their homes, families, and communities despite evacuation warnings.

The airstrikes caused damage in several areas of southern Lebanon.
Nawal Iskandar, a resident of Tyre, Lebanon, shared: “I was born and raised here. Everyone around me is like family, especially the young people whom I consider my own children and grandchildren. Therefore, I cannot leave my homeland. If I had to leave, I wouldn't know where to go if I lost my home and familiar life.”
UNICEF, citing figures provided by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, reported that a total of 77 children have been killed or injured in the past seven days. Israel and Hezbollah militants continue to fight fiercely despite a ceasefire brokered by Washington that took effect on March 2nd.
