Implementation plan

Kinhtedothi - The Prime Minister signed Decision No. 459/QD-TTg promulgating the Plan for implementing the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army (the Plan).

The purpose of the Plan is to ensure unified direction from the Government and the Prime Minister; close, regular, and effective coordination among ministries, sectors, localities, and relevant agencies and organizations in the implementation of the Law.

Specifically define the content of the work, deadlines, progress of completion, and responsibilities of relevant agencies and organizations in implementing the Law, ensuring timeliness, synchronicity, uniformity, effectiveness, and efficiency; build a coordination mechanism between ministries, sectors, and localities in conducting activities to implement the Law nationwide; and raise awareness of the Law and the responsibilities of ministries, sectors, localities, and the people in implementing the Law.

According to the plan for 2025 and subsequent years, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Voice of Vietnam , Vietnam Television, and other press, radio, and television agencies (according to the management functions of each ministry and agency) will compile materials, organize propaganda, dissemination, legal education, training, and professional development on the content of the Law and its implementing regulations.

Ministries, sectors, and localities shall review relevant legal documents under their assigned state management authority; and, within their authority, or propose to competent authorities, promptly amend, supplement, replace, repeal, or issue new legal documents to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Law.

The Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Public Security are implementing Decision No. 1610/QD-TTg dated December 19, 2024, of the Prime Minister, which promulgates the list and assigns the lead agencies to draft detailed regulations for the implementation of laws and resolutions passed by the 15th National Assembly at its 8th session.

The Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Public Security (according to their respective management functions) shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Justice, the Government Office, and other relevant agencies to organize inspections of the implementation of the Law and its detailed regulations and guidelines.
