This morning (August 22), in Hanoi , Vietnam Television (VTV) officially announced the launching ceremony of the National Foreign Service Television Channel - Vietnam Today. Vietnam's first English-language foreign service television channel will officially air on September 7.

Vietnam Today is produced and broadcast by Vietnam Television, established under Decision No. 747/QD-TTg dated April 11, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the implementation of providing national foreign television services to promote Vietnam to the world . Vietnam Today broadcasts 24/7 in English, applying technology to provide multilingual subtitles, suitable for each country and territory where the channel is transmitted.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, emphasized that Vietnam Today was born with the desire to be an information window for the world to understand, feel and connect with Vietnam; where the world can understand correctly and fully about a peaceful , stable, innovative, dynamically developing and comprehensively integrated Vietnam.

Vietnam Today channel is built on three core principles: authentic information, sharp content and creative communication. The channel provides multi-dimensional information about the country in many fields. Vietnam Today channel's television programs and digital content products are invested in quality in both content and form of expression, suitable for the tastes of international audiences.
