From an initial membership of 200, the Thanh Hoa City Business Association has grown to include over 500 businesses within its organization over the past five years. The association's appeal stems not only from its work in protecting the rights and interests of businesses, but also from its networking and exchange activities aimed at promoting cooperation and sharing experiences in production and business.
The Thanh Hoa City Business Association visited the operational model of Thang Long Equipment and Chemical Joint Stock Company in Hanoi .
The Thanh Hoa City Business Association has identified the program of visits, exchanges, and networking among its members as one of its key tasks and organizes it regularly every month. In addition to introducing their business models to other businesses in the association, members also receive advice, suggestions, and guidance from association leaders on directions and opportunities for greater growth. Furthermore, businesses have the opportunity to expand, connect, and cooperate in terms of inputs and outputs within their business models and supply chains.
Ms. Le Thi Trang, Director of Thanh Hoa Architecture and Construction Joint Stock Company, shared: “By joining the association, we have the opportunity to introduce our company's products to customers. Currently, up to 70% of members have become our customers, and they also refer relatives, friends, and partners to use our services when needed. Thanks to the reputation, product quality, and deep connection with the association, we have received additional support, helping us maintain revenue and achieve significant growth from 2020 to the present.”
As a relatively young enterprise in the elevator supply and installation market in Thanh Hoa, and with the owner being from out of town, AZ Electrical Engineering Elevator Co., Ltd. (Thanh Hoa City) has quickly built a reputation for its products and services, creating stable employment for 50 workers with an average income of 12-13 million VND per person per month. The company is also expanding its factory to meet installation and construction deadlines. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tran Thiet Thich, stated: “To achieve the company's development over the past years, in addition to our own efforts, we have also gained development direction through sharing and exchange within the association. Furthermore, investment promotion and networking programs, both domestically and internationally, have given us the opportunity to meet many large corporations, thereby fueling our aspirations and dreams of building a stronger enterprise.”
To date, the Thanh Hoa City Business Association has expanded its scope, attracting members not only within Thanh Hoa City but also spreading its activities and attracting business members from districts, towns, and cities in the province, as well as some businesses in other provinces and cities nationwide and even abroad.
The Thanh Hoa City Business Forum, themed "Construction Market - Potential and Challenges," attracted considerable interest from its members.
In particular, entering 2024, activities to connect and support members will be implemented in a more diverse and practical manner. This will not only include visits and sharing of cooperation opportunities, but also Thanh Hoa City Business Forums with specific themes, industries, and contexts.
For example, the first Thanh Hoa City Business Forum, held in March, focused on the theme "Construction Market - Potential and Challenges." Drawing on their experience in production and business, particularly in project investment, manufacturing, and supplying construction materials, the forum's guests provided the Thanh Hoa City business community, and businesses interested in this sector, with crucial information on current issues in the construction materials industry. This included: sourcing of goods, market segments; regulations and considerations for supplying construction materials to public investment projects; and opportunities for networking, investment cooperation, and business development in this field for interested businesses.
According to representatives of the Thanh Hoa City Business Association, future activities to connect and support businesses will continue to be researched, diversified, and adapted to specific circumstances. This is also an opportunity for the city's business community to share the advantages and difficulties in the production and business process; and to propose that the association compile and submit recommendations to the authorities at all levels to address difficulties related to administrative procedures, the business environment, and specific obstacles in mechanisms and policies... in order to support businesses in their development.
