Man Utd hosted Bodo/Glimt in the 5th round of the European Cup C2. This was also the debut of new head coach Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford. After the opening whistle, Man Utd proactively raised their squad and soon got what they needed. In the first minute of the match, Rasmus Hojlund's effort caused goalkeeper Haikin to make a mistake, Garnacho easily tapped the ball into the empty net to open the score.

Relieving the psychological pressure, Man Utd played very well and made the opponent's defense constantly shaken. But this was the half in which Garnacho played very poorly.
