The total number of international visitors reached about 72,000, an increase of more than 2 times compared to the same period in 2023; domestic visitors reached about 264,000. Total tourism revenue reached about 1,336 billion VND, an increase of 12.7% compared to the same period in 2023. The total number of flights to Da Nang during the 5-day holiday (from April 27 to May 1, 2024) reached about 563. On average, there are 112 flights to Da Nang every day, including 61 domestic flights and 51 international flights.
In particular, the number of visitors arriving by train has grown impressively. Vietnam Railways Corporation officially opened ticket sales for the Hue - Da Nang train and officially operated trains on this section from March 26 on two pairs of trains called "Connecting Central Heritage". This heritage train immediately attracted many tourists. Images of the train passing through the Hai Van Pass area of Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang were recorded as film footage and quickly attracted the attention of many travel enthusiasts. According to Ms. Doan Thi Hien, a tourist from Hanoi: "The trip to experience the Central Heritage train is very interesting. The travel procedures are quick and easy, the train is clean, the seats have charging places, and the food is diverse in Hue and Da Nang."
In addition, Vietnam Railways Corporation has launched the high-quality train SE21/22 (Saigon - Da Nang). Following the success of the high-quality train Hanoi - Da Nang (SE19/20), the train SE21/22 is a new product with many utilities and aesthetics, put into operation by the railway industry to serve the travel needs of people and is expected to become an attractive tourism product.

According to the Department of Tourism, 4-5 star tourist accommodation establishments have an occupancy rate of 70%. 3-star or lower tourist accommodation establishments have an average occupancy rate of 45%. Cultural, sports and beach tourism activities contribute to promoting Da Nang city to domestic and foreign tourists, making Da Nang the center of the country's leading festivals and events.
