Representatives from Fivitel Da Nang Hotel reported that the occupancy rate for May 30th and 31st has reached 100%. Weekends in June and July have also been booked at over 90%.
"As in previous years, the Fireworks Festival is always attractive to tourists, and we've had our rooms booked since the beginning of May. Our guests are mainly families and tour groups coming for relaxation, experience, and to watch the fireworks," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, Director of Fivitel Da Nang.

Da Nang is ready for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026.
Accordingly, to enhance the visitor experience, the unit has also developed many accompanying activities on weekend evenings, at a location offering panoramic city views and fireworks displays.
The Hilton Da Nang hotel, located on the banks of the Han River, also recorded high occupancy rates, potentially reaching full capacity similar to previous events. Tourist demand was concentrated strongly on the days of the event, especially on weekends.
The unit expects this year to continue to be a vibrant business season with favorable guest numbers and room occupancy rates; at the same time, the diverse culinary options will enhance the audio-visual and dining experience for tourists during the fireworks nights.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Commercial Director of Hilton Da Nang Hotel, shared: "We remain optimistic that the fireworks displays will play a leading role in driving demand, ensuring high occupancy rates and creating momentum for growth in the entire market during this peak season."
According to the DIFF 2026 Organizing Committee, the overall occupancy rate of the city's accommodation system is estimated at approximately 65%, an increase of over 8% compared to the same period last year. Tourists are mainly concentrated in the central and coastal wards of Da Nang (Hai Chau, An Hai, Son Tra, Hoa Cuong, Ngu Hanh Son, Thanh Khe, etc.); with the highest numbers recorded in areas belonging to Hai Chau and An Hai wards, due to their proximity to the main viewing stands and fireworks display locations.

The Da Nang (Vietnam) fireworks team opened the inaugural night.
Many establishments are implementing holiday packages that combine culinary experiences, spa treatments, beach activities, programs for families and children, as well as local cultural experiences to extend guest stays and increase spending.
The opening night of DIFF 2026 is attracting great interest from tourists and locals alike. As of the afternoon of May 29th, over 95% of tickets for the opening night have been booked to enjoy the competition between the host team Da Nang and the defending champion China.
On May 29th and 30th, approximately 323 domestic and international flights arrived in Da Nang. The number of visitors to tourist attractions in Da Nang during the opening ceremony of DIFF 2026 is expected to reach around 145,138.
