Opening of the Red River Delta - Ninh Binh 2025 Industry and Trade Fair

Attending the opening ceremony of the fair were comrades: Mai Thanh Long, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Cao Son, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee; Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ). Also attending were Ms. Jennifer Chang, Executive Director of the Asian Organic Association; Mr. Ha Phuc Mich, Chairman of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association; leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of several provinces and cities; and businesses participating in the fair.

In his opening speech, Mr. Pham Hong Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh province, emphasized that the 2025 Red River Delta - Ninh Binh Industry and Trade Fair is an opportunity for businesses and consumers to meet, exchange, expand markets, promote trade, cooperate in investment, link to create an effective supply chain of goods between regions; at the same time, display and introduce organic products of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association.

Comrade Pham Hong Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, delivered the opening speech at the Fair.

The fair is also an opportunity to build and develop brands, enhance the competitiveness of local products and typical rural industrial products of Ninh Binh province in relation to other regions, thereby promoting potential, strengths, industry diversity and effectively exploiting traditional factors, skills and production quintessence of local workers.

Comrade Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that the Red River Delta - Ninh Binh 2025 Trade Fair is a rotating trade promotion activity between provinces in the region, aiming to introduce and promote agricultural products, specialties, typical craft village and handicraft products. This year's fair is part of the national trade promotion program organized annually by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province, aiming to promote cooperation, economic development, investment, tourism, and services of Ninh Binh province in particular, the Red River Delta region in general and connect with domestic and foreign enterprises.

With the participation of many enterprises inside and outside the province, along with many quality OCOP products from rural areas on display, Comrade Bui Quang Hung believes that the fair will become an important trade promotion channel, creating conditions for connecting trade between producers in the Red River Delta with larger markets, including domestic and international markets. At the same time, the fair is also a bridge to help investors and suppliers seek cooperation opportunities to expand production, processing, and increase added value for products of Ninh Binh in particular and localities in the Northern region as well as the whole country in general.

The Ninh Binh Red River Delta Industry and Trade Fair 2025 has a scale of 250 booths, gathering nearly 150 units, enterprises, cooperatives and organizations, individuals; including 50 booths of units, enterprises, and cooperatives of Ninh Binh. The exhibition booths are arranged into 4 specialized areas: OCOP products; organic products - clean agricultural products; Ninh Binh enterprise booths; booths of provinces and cities across the country.

Within the framework of the fair, many activities took place: exchange and trade of goods; signing of economic contracts; music and dance performances… attracting a large number of visitors and shoppers.

The 2025 Red River Delta - Ninh Binh Industry and Trade Fair will last until September 21, 2025.
