On the evening of December 11, the opening ceremony of the Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Autumn-Winter 2024 took place in Mong Cai City. Attending the event were comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the OCOP Steering Committee of Quang Ninh province.
The Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Fall-Winter 2024 has the participation of nearly 200 domestic production and business organizations and individuals with 1,180 typical, featured products, regional specialties and OCOP products of 42 provinces and cities. This fair also introduces the Socio -Economic Development Plan, potential strengths, and investment attraction advantages of Mong Cai city; introduces typical, featured products of domestic provinces and cities; and introduces, exhibits, and promotes e-commerce activities, Digital solutions in production, business and service provision activities.
In addition, the fair also has an exhibition area introducing typical OCOP products of Quang Ninh province; there are activities to promote the Quang Ninh OCOP e-commerce platform with a new interface and modern features that have been upgraded and added to further promote promotional activities and trade promotion in the digital environment. This is a comprehensive solution, supporting the connection of OCOP products, typical products of Quang Ninh province to consumers across the country.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that in recent times, Quang Ninh province has always focused on improving the investment and business environment, paying attention to leadership and direction to remove difficulties for enterprises, especially manufacturing and import-export enterprises. Quang Ninh province in general and Mong Cai city in particular have increasingly affirmed their position in international economic integration; being a key area for developing border gate economy, border tourism, and ASEAN's gateway to Northeast Asian countries; promoting trade connections, import and export of goods between Vietnam, ASEAN countries and the Chinese market and vice versa. Through the fair, enterprises, production establishments, and cooperatives have the opportunity to connect to markets, boost product consumption, and promote trade. At the same time, the fair is also a reliable shopping address with a variety of quality products, meeting the needs of people and tourists during Tet.
Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Fall-Winter 2024 is an annual activity at the end of each year. This fair takes place from December 11-15, 2024 at the Mong Cai City Cultural and Communication Center, Hoa Lac Ward (Mong Cai City).
